# Meowdoku

> Meowdoku is a free, browser-based cat-themed logic puzzle in the Queens family. Place exactly one cat in every row, column and colored region, and never let two cats touch — not even diagonally. No download, no ads, unlimited hints. Every board has a unique solution solvable by pure logic.

## Modes

- [Normal](https://meowdoku.us/): Play Meowdoku free in your browser. Normal mode starts on tiny 4×4 boards and steps up to 8×8 as you level, so you learn the deduction before the grid gets big. One cat per row, column, and color region — never touching, even diagonally.
- [Hard](https://meowdoku.us/hard): Play Hard Meowdoku free — every board is a full 8×8 from level one, with a single locked starter cat in the middle row to open the puzzle. Eight regions, eight cats, one unique solution. A real step up for players who want more deduction.
- [Ultra](https://meowdoku.us/ultra): Play Ultra Hard Meowdoku free — the largest 9×9 boards with nine regions and no starter cat. The extra row and column give the no-touching rule the most room to bite, so every one of the nine cats is earned by pure elimination. Built for experts who never guess.
